The Winnipeg Football Club is looking for a passionate and career-driven individual to add to our team! As part of the Ticketing Operations team, you will be responsible for the execution of the ticketing operations activities of the club, ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of ticketing, CRM, and related software platforms, as well as internal training, technical communications and reporting, for both the Blue Bombers and Valour FC.
The successful new team member will also manage game day ticketing activities, including the operation of the venue box office and maintenance of related technologies, and ongoing quality assurance in all ticketing related areas.
What you will do:
- General administration of the WFC's inter-related ticketing systems. This will include:
- All aspects of event programming, including the creation of event, season, and package structures
- Offer programming and maintenance, including the accurate calculation of pricing while adhering to organizational standards and conventions.
- User, permissions and inventory management.
- Maintaining up to date knowledge of industry standards and practices while determining courses of action most appropriate for the WFC.
- Support and routine maintenance of customer relationship management, digital communications and fan data platforms.
- Support and routine maintenance of ticketing related equipment, including but not limited to ticket scanners and printers.
- Act as cross-departmental liaison in the execution of ticketing tasks, activities and campaigns.
- Regular and ad-hoc execution of reporting tasks as required by internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage gameday box office activities, including fan issue resolution, coordinating with Ticketmaster staff, and serving as a point of contact for internal ticketing needs across the organization.
- Training of ticketing sales & service staff on the use of ticketing and CRM systems.
- Communication of new events, offers, initiatives, procedures and requirements to relevant staff as necessary.
- Regular review of:
- User and sales activity to ensure compliance with organizational best practices.
- Website and other marketing materials as they relate to ticketing events, offers and initiatives.
- Payment plans and ticketing receivables, coordinating with appropriate stakeholders to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
Requirements
- Previous work experience in administering database management systems, preferably in an event ticketing environment.
- Experience with the Ticketmaster and/or Salesforce suite of products is considered an asset.
- Functional knowledge of SQL.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to efficiently relay technical concepts to a variety of audiences.
- Self-driven and detail-oriented individual with a passion for process and accuracy.
- Flexible schedule and the ability to work all Blue Bomber and Valour FC home games and special events on evenings and weekends.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of school and work experience.
