Job Summary: We are seeking a Full Stack Software Developer with expertise in ColdFusion development and Oracle Database (DB) to join our team. This role requires hands-on experience in creating and enhancing web applications and supporting infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and highly available applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test application programs; ensure they meet functional requirements and high availability standards.
  • Review, analyze, and modify programming systems, including encoding, testing, debugging, and deployment.
  • Communicate effectively with remote teams to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Implement efficient, secure coding practices and continuous integration/delivery pipelines.
  • Maintain and enhance the performance and reliability of existing application systems.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for system development and revisions.
  • Analyze organizational needs and translate them into scalable and secure application systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of "enhanced security solutions.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Security Clearance: Secret Level Clearance (mandatory)
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in software development
    • Programming Languages: ColdFusion - Including ColdBox Framework 4 (mandatory), JavaScript, ANSI SQL-92.
    • Database: Oracle 19c (mandatory)
    • Frontend Tools: AngularJS, HTML5, CSS.
    • Frameworks and Libraries: Apache POI.
    • Version Control: Git.
    • Operating Systems: Linux.
    • DevOps Tools: JIRA, GitHub, Jenkins, UrbanCode Deploy (UCD).

  • Experience working on Government of Canada contracts.
