The Opportunity:
We're looking for a Senior Analyst, Portfolio and Strategic Sourcing to join our Strategy & Business Transformation team.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing, the Senior Analyst, Portfolio and Strategic Sourcing will be responsible for supporting the Strategic Sourcing and the Enterprise Delivery Portfolio groups.
This position will be key to establishing transparency and governance for Aviso's vendor management environment and ecosystem by collating, analyzing, reporting, and providing insights on vendor profiles, performance, and risk across the enterprise. You will help define sourcing and vendor management practices within Aviso and there are opportunities to be responsible for the onboarding and due diligence process for new vendors, for managing and maintaining the vendor book of record, and for executing on vendor performance, criticality, and risk reviews.

What your day looks like:
- Support the development and delivery of the sourcing strategy and operating model and the execution of full sourcing and supplier management processes
- Support Aviso's strategic procurement process with each business unit by facilitating adherence to the onboarding and due diligence process and partnering with and influencing the business to establish continuous improvement
- Assist and partner with business leaders to identify ways to streamline and improve procurement processes, governance, risk management, performance analytics, and their enabling technologies
- Support the development and monitoring of benchmarks and assessment criteria for vendor performance and risk and assist in evaluating vendors against expected metrics
- Maintain and refine the vendor book of record and help establish clarity on Aviso's vendor landscape through insights and reporting
- Conduct analysis on vendor spend to gather key insights and develop KPIs to help manage the vendor landscape
- Lead benchmarking and market analysis on potential new vendors
- Support contract renewal processes to ensure the business and impacted groups are engaged and that key processes are completed in a timely manner, including assessing vendor performance, risk, and obligations
- Help establish clarity on Aviso's demand for resources within the delivery group through reporting and support capacity planning and resource allocation within the division and business units
- Support the prioritization of projects and delivery teams by building and maintaining the fiscal plan
- Coordinate and support decentralized program execution
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to determine, build, and enhance the governance structure of the Strategy and Business Transformation division and the delivery of the enterprise project portfolio and sourcing strategies
Requirements
Your experience and skills:
- University education in Finance/Accounting or relevant work experience is preferred
- 4 - 8 years of experience advising senior leadership on analytics and insights around Financials is required
- Experience working in fast-paced, matrix environments with a strong understanding of large enterprise standards and contract and commercial terminology is required
- Experience working in Sourcing or Procurement is an asset
- Experience with data mining, analysis, and visualization tools and techniques using PowerBI, Tableau, or Excel is required
- Strong analysis and logical thinking with a passion for process improvement and ability to identify opportunities is required
- Strong relationship management skills and collaboration with all levels, including technical stakeholders, internal and external, are required
- Strong influencing and presentation skills are required
- Creativity, a positive attitude, high motivation and energy, and a willingness to get involved is required
- Willingness to complete the training necessary to support Aviso's Continuous Improvement initiatives is required
- Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset

Salary
This position is posted with an expected salary range of $110,000 - $115,000 CAD annually. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate and the requirements of the position.
