Transdev Ontario Manitoba is currently recruiting for a HR Operations Manager in London, Ontario. Supporting the Voyago, Priority Patient Transfer Services and East Ferris Bus Lines brands.
Your Role:
Position Overview
Working in a rapidly growing, fast paced environment, the Human Resources Operations Manager will report directly to the Vice President Human Resources, and will be responsible for designing, monitoring and improvement of HR processes, policies, and technologies over time.
Please note: this is not a remote position and does require the Manager to work onsite in the London office. A Hybrid working option (3 days in office and 2 days remote) may be considered after 3 months.
HR Systems
- Accountability of HR systems maintenance, enhancement projects and implementation of new technology
- Develop long term goals and processes for all HR service and technology.
- Collaborate with leaders to provide consultation, process design, project management of HR programs and HR systems, implementations and initiatives
- Measure and improve HCM/ WFM performance to maintain strong and efficient processes in place to assist with future growth and integration of M&A companies.
Processes
- Manage the deployment and administration of operational processes used to deliver HR programs and projects.
- Focus on current processes with HR Administration, Benefits, and payroll team for continuous improvement.
Compliance
- Maintains an in-depth knowledge of current legislation relating to employment law, WSIB, Labour Relations Act, Employment Standards Act, Human Rights Code to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Provide support and consultation to the teams around applicable laws, ensuring that all entities remain legally compliant in its people practices.
- Govern the proper handling & storage of confidential data in compliance with privacy and protection laws, policies and regulations.
Manage Payroll, Benefits & HR Services:
- Oversee through the payroll team the timely and accurate delivery of payroll and maintenance of benefits programs.
- Partner with Benefit Providers on employee offering, costing, billing, reconciliations and providing great customer service to our teams
- Ensure smooth integration of payroll and benefits for M&A companies.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications that include, but are not limited to, the following
- You bring a Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or a related field
- You Posses 4+ years of experience in Human Resources, Payroll and project management role, ideally in a related industry
- Your CHRP certification and/or CPM certification is preferred
- You posses a Clean Criminal Record Search
- Your ADP Workforce Now experience is preferred
- You have hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems.
- You are completely proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other common applications
- You bring a strong knowledge of payroll compliance and legislation and general accounting principles and procedures.
- You are available to work on-site in the London Ontario office as this is not a remote position
