Position Overview:
As a Brand Merchandising & Marketplace Coordinator Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting our merchandising efforts and enhancing our presence in various online marketplaces. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in brand management, product merchandising, and e-commerce strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Development and execution of merchandising strategies for our product lines and ensure product listings are accurate, up-to-date, and optimized for search.
- Take high-quality product photos for online listings, ensuring visual consistency.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling product descriptions and visuals for online platforms.
- Assist in addressing customer inquiries and handling returns or issues related to marketplace transactions.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and consumer preferences.
- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to optimize product placement and promotional efforts.
- Help coordinate marketing campaigns and promotional events.
- Provide administrative support to the merchandising team as needed.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, E-commerce, or a related field, or recent graduate with relevant coursework.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Familiarity with marketplace platforms (e.g., Amazon Seller Central, eBay Seller Hub) is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing principles and e-commerce operations. Experience with data analysis tools or content management systems is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
