POSITION: Millwright Apprentice – Maintenance REPORTS TO: Maintenance Supervisor

We are looking for a Millwright Apprentice to join our Maintenance team! Our Millwright Apprentice will be responsible for installing, repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining equipment on the production line!

This role is physically demanding as you will be lifting, moving, and handling large parts of equipment for the bulk of your job. However, you will have the opportunity to get hands-on experience and training to grow into an experienced Millwright ultimately!

EXPERIENCE

• You are enrolled in a Millwright Apprenticeship program

• You have experience working in a manufacturing facility; preferably food manufacturing

THINGS YOU WILL DO…

• Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures

• Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and find irregularities and malfunctions

• Operate hoisting/lifting device and operate machine tools as needed

• Install, align, take apart, and move stationary industrial machinery/mechanical equipment using appropriate tools

• Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts as required

• Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery

• You can work flexible shifts, as the job requires

Salary based on Apprentice Level:

Year 2 - $29.73

Year 3 - $33.40

Year 4 - $37.08
