As a Business Systems Analyst you'll liaise with cross functional teams to deliver processes and systems improvements, leveraging your strong analytical, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills. The Business Systems Analyst must have expertise in defining business processes, business systems analysis, and implementation and support of modern ERP systems. You will play an important role in elevating our business operations and enable us to achieve operational excellence.

What you will do:

  • Analyze business processes and systems, pinpoint inefficiencies and opportunities, and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Part of the core team to lead the implementation and configuration of business systems, optimize business processes and respond to user report-writing and analysis requests.
  • Take ownership of gathering and delivering comprehensive business requirements, process flows and user stories to stakeholders, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and completeness. ensuring comprehensive understanding of the proposed solutions meeting business needs.
  • Contribute to enablement strategy development with a strong understanding of business needs and impacts to influence roadmaps.
  • Apply previous experience and knowledge of business systems and processes, and evolving technologies like Generative AI to provide insights for optimizing business processes in inventory management, field services planning, sales operations.
  • Actively participate in driving adoption of processes and systems changes through user testing, addressing usage issues, building and delivering training content and monitoring user feedback.
  • Document, track, and monitor all problems/resolutions activity to ensure timely resolution and adherence to department guidelines.
  • Keep stakeholders informed of significant or recurring issues that have an effect on business operations.
  • Manage external support requirements with third-party providers.
  • Develop and maintain user instructions and support documentation for enterprise business systems tailored for technical and non-technical users.
  • Measure the success of new features with external and internal users and develop plans to continuously improve on product usage.
  • Monitor and evaluate process performance through data trend analysis for further improvements, generating insights and recommendations.
  • Prepare and present data-driven insights to informed decision-making.

Requirements

We want you to succeed so you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience in a business systems analyst role
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration (operations, logistics, supply chain), engineering or a related field
  • Experience in a lead role for an ERP implementation that included Finance, Supply Chain and Inventory Management, and demonstrated knowledge of internal operational processes in these areas
  • Experience with ERP system configuration, master data management, workflow development, and report writing
  • Technical document writing, including business process mapping, work instructions, and standard operating procedures
  • Understanding of data mapping and ETL process, and experience building data driven insights, using reporting tools such as Power BI and Tableau
  • Ability to plan and manage tasks and adhere to project timelines and milestones
  • Experience with identifying creative and efficient solutions to complex problems with strong analytical and reasoning skills, and adept at handling ambiguity with attention to detail.
  • Solid aptitude for evolving technologies like Generative AI and its role in business enablement
  • Strong skills in IT software tools such as Jira, Visio, Mural, Lucidchart, Google suite
  • Strong ability to independently manage time and prioritize tasks
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skill, earn trust quickly and convey ideas succinctly and with influence both verbal and visually

Nice to have:

  • Formal training or certification in enterprise software or reporting tools, including MS D365, PowerBI, Tableau, CRM (Salesforce, Hubspot, D365)
  • Formal training or certification in business analysis techniques such as Certified Business Analysis Professional or Certified Lean Six Sigma professional are a plus.
  • Experience working with companies with international operations
  • Knowledge of AI application in enterprise systems
  • System implementation experience
  • Agile project management experience

Salary range: $100,000 to $115,000 annually

Please note that the base pay offered may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and experience, as well as business and organizational needs.
