Join our team as a Millwright Mechanic and contribute to the efficient operation of our manufacturing facility. As a Millwright Mechanic, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment to ensure production uptime and quality. Your expertise in mechanical systems and troubleshooting will be relied upon to diagnose and resolve issues promptly.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks and repairs on machinery and equipment
  • Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble mechanical components
  • Inspect and troubleshoot machinery and mechanical systems to identify issues
  • Utilize various tools, measuring devices, and diagnostic equipment to perform repairs
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of production lines
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Document maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and work performed

Requirements

  • Valid Millwright license is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Millwright Mechanic
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with manufacturing machinery and equipment
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces
