Bilingual (ENGLISH/FRENCH) Project Manager - ERP Accounting System Implementation – Remote - Canada

We are hiring at Trendex for a Project Manager to join our team! The ideal candidate is someone with experience implementing accounting systems, preferably within an ERP system, and an accounting, finance, or bookkeeping background.

Trendex is a software developer and service organization specializing in ERP software for gas and welding supplies distributors. We have been in business for over 40 years and are well-respected leaders in our market. We offer specialized, turnkey ERP software solutions for industrial gas distributors. Trendex serves customers across North America and supports them through internet communication from our Head Office in Montreal, Canada. All our software is developed in-house and tailored to meet the needs of the North American market. We also sell specialized hardware to our customers needs (servers, scanners, mobile devices, etc.).

Trendex's ERP software can automate and streamline business functions like accounting procedures, inventory control, and purchasing, or specialized ones like cylinder tracking and hazmat calculations. Unifying these operational facets into one central system helps keep businesses more organized, saving valuable time and – ultimately – cutting down costs. This lifts some of the burdens off employees, improving efficiency, increasing accuracy, and ultimately enhancing operations.

The successful candidate will be bilingual in Englist and French and will work in a hybrid work model from our office in Montreal. However, regular working hours will be 09:00 - 17:00 - EST.

What your day will look like:

  • The qualified candidate will be responsible for systems implementation, including planning system migrations, on-boarding clients with training and software support and providing feedback to Trendex development and support groups
  • Communicate effectively with the customer's implementation team throughout the project lifecycle to understand customer needs, ensuring project delivery success
  • Serve as client support for Trendex customers by responding to customer calls, emails, and other inquiries regarding Trendex products and services
  • Troubleshoot and assist Trendex customers with service and hardware issues in accordance with established SLAs.
  • Develop a firm understanding of Trendex to the degree of becoming a superuser
  • Ability to extract, transform, and load data from various sources
  • Perform data mapping and migration activities

About You:

  • Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years of ERP software experience in Canada or the US is essential
  • Must be able to work US Eastern Time Zone hours on a regular basis
  • Strong communication skills
  • Takes initiative to get things done
  • Highly organized
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio
  • Good understanding of business concepts and accounting principles, as well as ERP systems
  • Working knowledge of accounting/distribution software
  • Self-starter – Shows initiative
  • Have your own transport and a valid driving license
  • Live within commutable distance of our office in Montreal
  • At least a professional level of English and French, both written and verbal, is essential
  • Legally authorised to work in Canada
