We are seeking experienced Core Cutters or General Labourers with good aptitude operating power tools, for a drilling campaign at the old Elk Gold Mine, which is located halfway between West Kelowna and Merritt, BC. (off Highway 97C)

Core Cutters:

• Responsible for cutting core samples to specified dimensions using specialized equipment (Core saws, similar to tile saws.).
• Ensure accuracy and precision in the cutting process
• Properly label and store cut core samples to maintain organization and trackability
• Maintain and clean cutting equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times

Requirements

• Previous experience in operating core cutting equipment is highly desired.
• Level 1 First Aid Certification or equivalent 2-day course - is an asset.
• Knowledge of proper handling and storage of core samples.
• Must have attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
• Must be able to follow safety guidelines and procedures.
• Must be Physically capable of lifting and moving core boxes and samples, of up to 50 pounds.

Benefits

7 days on / 7 days off rotation.

10 hrs per day, includes the travel time from West Kelowna. (50 minute drive to the job site)

This is not a camp or Hotel job, you will be home every night.
