About the Role

Tecsys Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented FinOps Analyst to join our team. As a FinOps Analyst, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our company's finances and operations. With our transformative supply chain solutions, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the success of our customers in a rapidly changing omni-channel world. From demand planning to demand fulfillment, Tecsys empowers front-line workers and back office planners, enabling business leaders to see and manage their supply chains like never before.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze financial and operational performance data to identify trends and drive strategic decision making.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support financial planning and budgeting processes.
  • Evaluate and improve financial and operational processes to drive efficiency and cost savings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to senior management.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support business development initiatives and investment decision making.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and controls.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis or related roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and financial software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional certification such as CFA or CPA is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in both written and verbal English communication essential for effective correspondence with clients, suppliers, business partners, and colleagues beyond the province of Quebec.
