POSITION SUMMARY
As a member of the Machine Shop team, this position will be responsible for operating a variety of machinery, such as press brakes, flat sheet lasers, shears, tube lasers and tube bending, while adhering to company procedures.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Operates shears, punches and brakes, and power hand tools.
- Works effectively in a team environment.
- Adheres to safety procedures as they apply to all equipment used in this position.
- Reads and interprets blueprints and/or process sheets.
- Maintains accurate information flow to support our first-time quality initiatives.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- Prior experience operating a press brake, shear and/or punch press is required for this position.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be flexible to work various shifts.
