Recreation Assistant

Roseway Manor is a 66 bed, long term care facility located in Shelburne, NS. We are currently seeking to hire a Recreation Assistant for 14 weeks.

The Recreation Assistant plays a vital role in supporting our residents and upholding Roseway Manor's Philosophy of Service: Mission and Vision.

Responsibilities

Delivery of recreation, leisure, and therapeutic programs to and for the residents with varying levels of capabilities

Documentation and accurate record keeping

May be required to assist with outside events

Qualifications

Under the mandate of the CSJ Summer Employment Guidelines eligibitlity criteria includes:

All youth age 15-30

Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment

Have a valid Social Insurance Number and be legally entitled to work in Canada
