Le Collège Communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick, (CCNB), is looking for expressions of interest for casual employment as an Instructor of Carpentry, to create a pool of qualified candidates to meet ad hoc needs.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a member of the teaching staff and under the supervision of the Associate Dean, and according to the principles of the pedagogical approach centered on the development of skills, the main tasks consist among others in:
- Teach an Aboriginal population in an English-speaking environment.
- Prepare, develop, and teach courses related to the curriculum.
- Mentor students and plan practical activities.
- Collaborate with peers in their areas of expertise.
- Perform various tasks related to program promotion.
- Assess student progress while providing follow-up and coaching.
REQUIREMENTS:
You have completed post-secondary training related to the courses to be taught and you have relevant experience of at least 3 years in the fields sought.
The red seal would be an asset.
If you identify as an Indigenous person (First Nations, Inuit or Métis), this will be an additional asset to your application.
You are a Canadian resident or hold a valid work permit in New Brunswick.
Other important skills:
Proficiency in English is required for this position. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills. Good performance and attendance record. Teaching experience would also be an asset. Knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Workplace: To one of the sites associated with the CCNB
Status: On call full-time or part-time
Salary: According to the current collective agreement for the group Éducation (enseignants) (from 33,88 $ à 52,08 $/per hour depending on training and experience).
