Logisitics Coordinator

SABIAN is in search of a candidate to join our team in the position of logistics coordinator. Qualified candidates must be capable and willing to learn the following duties and responsibilities:

• Establish work schedules and procedures, co-ordinate all activities with other work units or departments.

• Manage and co-ordinate all releases sent to shipping department to be packaged and shipped with the production schedule

• Maintain relationships with freight forwarders and common carriers

• Update Customer portals with shipping information.

• Maintain and report the on-time delivery weekly.

• Stage and shrink wrap all international shipments.

• House keeping duties such as health and safety, training and Maintenance for Sabian Trucks and all shipping equipment.

• Supervise the Bar coding, set pack, packaging, receiving, shipping, and delivery work centers

• Planning and executing the schedule 1 week in advance (with daily adjustments) to align with Customer demand.

• Ensure all employees are accurately clocking in, out and closing jobs.

• Other duties as requested by your manager.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Grade 12 Diploma

• Understand the manufacturing process as it pertains to shipping and logistics

• Strong computer literacy in Datascope, SYSPRO, Excel, Microsoft teams, and Customer portals are an asset

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Team player

• Ability to multi-tasks

• Supervisory experience would be an asset

• Operate a forklift is an asset

Physical Requirements:

• Heavy lifting up to 25 kg

• Overtime as required.

• 70% hands on, 30?ministrative
