Counterbalance Forklift Operator

Job Title: Forklift Operator (Counterbalance)
Location: Burlington, Ontario - Appleby Line and Fairview Street
Shifts: Monday - Friday Days (7:00am-3:30pm) or Afternoons (3:30pm-11:00pm)
Rate of Pay: $21.00/hour
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent Hire

We are looking for experienced Forklift Operators for our client in Burlington that processes raw materials including clay and soil at their production facility. You must have long-term material handling and forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You must be available to complete our interview and onboarding process immediately.

Responsibilities Include:
* Loading and unloading product by hand and using a counterbalance forklift
* Move product between production area and shipping docks
* Pick and pack orders and complete inventory counts
* Inspection of forklift prior to use
* Collaborate with team members to improve processes and overall efficiency
* Lifting up to 50lbs throughout the shift
* Other general duties as assigned

Candidate Requirements:
* 2+ years of fast-paced forklift experience in a warehouse or production facility
* Experience operating a counterbalance forklift and a valid forklift license
* Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to lift up to 50lbs
