In a large and complex facility such as an airport, with thousands independently moving parts and staff and people, the continuous supply of power is all-important to ensure the smooth running of the entire facility.
We are currently seeking a certified journeyman electrician to join our team on a full-time basis.
Summary
Positions: Airport Electrical Maintenance (AEM)
Salary: $60,500 - $80,800
Terms of Employment: Full time (40 hours per week); probation period of 6 months

What we're looking for
The successful candidate will have completed a formal apprenticeship or technical school training coupled with experience in the electrical construction and maintenance industry and be a certified journeyman electrician. Airport electrical experience would be an asset, but on-the-job training will be provided to familiarize the successful candidate with the airport's specialized electrical systems and regulations.
This position requires a valid driver's licence, a security clearance, a restricted radio operator's permit and airside vehicle operator's permit.
The successful candidate will:
- maintain the airport's electrical systems, equipment, and installations,
- support the management team to develop operational plans and budgets,
- ensure that safety comes first, and
- be a flexible, positive, and dynamic team member!
