Custodian (Industrial)

Job Title: Warehouse Custodian Location: Milton, ON - James Snow Pkwy & Regional Rd 25
Shift: Monday to Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm or 10:30am - 7:00pm
Rate of Pay: $23.00/hour
Job Type: Ongoing Temporary

We are hiring for Warehouse Custodians for our client's distribution center in Milton. This is a large, fast-paced environment that required long-term janitor or custodian experience in a commercial or industrial environment. You must also have your own vehicle to commute to work as the facility is not transit accessible.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Cleaning and wiping shelving and racks
* Collecting cardboard and trash removal
* Sweeping and mopping
* Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and other high traffic areas
* Operate cleaning equipment (ie. floor scrubbing machine)
* Other general building maintenance
* Perform general labour tasks as required to support regular operations

Candidate Qualifications:
* Previous long-term experience in custodial or cleaning role
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Positive attitude and strong work ethic
* CSA certified safety shoes are required
* Ability to lift, push and slide up to 50lbs or more if necessary
* Reliable transportation required as this facility is not accessible via public transit
* Must be available for overtime as necessary
