We are looking for an experienced Full-Time Junior Bookkeeper for the head office of a growing wholesale/supply business in Moncton.

We are looking for a friendly, outgoing individual that wants to be involved with the business, is interested in being a team member, participating in corporate events, and helping to promote a positive influence on the company as they will be interacting directly with clients and vendors. The successful candidate will have a desire to work for a medium sized business and work collaboratively with the ownership group. The candidate will be a key individual in the company's successful operation.

Responsibilities:
• Input both vendor and customer invoices and any associated supporting documents.
• Send out customer invoices.
• Track sales orders.
• Prepare monthly reports.
• Works closely with the Accounts Manager
• Special projects as assigned.
• Analysis budget of project costs. Calculate project profits.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Attendance of all required training sessions.

Skills and Qualifications:
• Communicates effectively: speak, listen and write clearly, thoroughly, and timely manner using appropriate and effective communication tools and techniques - excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Proactive willingness and ability to bring problems forward to management.
Two (2) year community college diploma in accounting/bookkeeping or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and with high efficiency, accuracy, and attention to essential details.
• Highly organized with the ability to organize workloads to ensure deadlines will be met and to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Understanding ethical behaviour and business practices to ensure own behaviour and the behaviour of others are consistent with the standards that align with the organization's values.
• To achieve the organization's goals, establish and maintain positive working relationships with others internally and externally.
• Superior telephone manners/skills.
• Works cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problems and make decisions that enhance organizational effectiveness.
• A self-starter that can work on their own in addition to being able to work as part of a team.
• Applicants will need to demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Able to type and write simple professional correspondence, including e-mails, memos, letters, etc.
• Able to maintain filing systems.
