Forklift Operator (Counterbalance)

Job Title: Forklift Shipper / Receiver (Counterbalance)
Location: Burlington, Ontario - Appleby Line and Fairview Street
Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00am-3:30pm or 3:30pm - 11:00pm
Rate of Pay: $21.00 - 22.00/hour based on experience
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent Hire

Our client in Burlington is hiring for day and afternoon shift Forklift Operators for their aggregate processing facility. You must have a valid forklift license (counterbalance), be comfortable lifting 50lbs, and have experience in a similar shipping or receiving role. We are looking for candidates that can begin working immediately!

Job Responsibilities:
- Creating shipping labels and BOLs
- Processing shipping documents and completing inventory
- Move skids between departments using forklift
- Loading and unloading shipments by hand and with a forklift
- Forklift inspections prior to operating
- Build, Wrap and Stack (double high) skids
- Collaborate with team members to improve shipping processes and overall efficiency
- Other general duties as assigned

Requirements:
- 2+ years of similar experience in a shipping/receiving role required- Valid Counterbalance forklift license and previous operating experience
- Strong communication skills (written and oral in English)
- Comfortable using SAP, WMS, and MS Office
- Ability to lift 50lbs throughout a shift
- Willing to provide a Criminal Record Search
