Our client, a well-established local business, is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and innovative professional to fill the role of Controller. In this senior-level position, you will lead and manage all aspects of finance and administration, including overseeing accounting operations and organizational policies.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing monthly reports;
• Managing payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the preparation of government filings;
• Coordinating year-end work with the external accountant; and
• Handling other accounting-related tasks as needed.

This role demands extensive accounting expertise, the capacity to manage multiple corporate entities, and frequent collaboration with staff and management.

The ideal candidate will have strong written, communication, and analytical skills. A university or college degree, along with 5+ years of relevant business experience, is required. While a professional accounting designation is preferred, it is not mandatory.
