Food Production Associate

Job Title: Food Production Associate
Location: Amherst, Nova Scotia
Shifts: Monday to Friday, Starts at 8:00AM (can include overnights)
Rate of Pay: $18.10 per hour (shift differential)

Our client is looking for reliable and dedicated workers to join their growing production team!

Responsibilities:
* Ensure machine deck is clean of previous product (seeds, foreign material)
* Ensure bag lot numbers are recorded on wrapper sheet
* Ensure recode log is used to allow traceability
* Ensure no foreign material or contamination in the tray
* Run checks on metal detector to ensure it is working properly
* Ensure product is not being crushed
* Look for contamination in the product. If found, report to supervisor immediately.

Candidate Requirements:
* Strong mathematical skills
* Previous production experience would be an asset
* Lifting up to 50lbs
* This role requires the submission of a Criminal Background Check
