Electromechanical Technician

Job Title: Electromechanical Technician (Full Time)
Location: Oxford, Nova Scotia
Pay: $21.84-$34.86 per hour
Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-7:00PM /40 per week- Rotational

Responsibilities:
* Work independently while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
* Troubleshoot and perform moderate repairs in a highly automated factory setting.
* Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance inspections and repairs.
* Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure timely repairs when necessary.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Repair automated mechanical systems and electro-mechanical equipment.
* Test, operate, and maintain robotic and automated packaging equipment.
* Troubleshoot computer-controlled production equipment.
* Possess a technical understanding of automated production processes operating through PLCs.
* Ensure the safe and effective operation of mechanical equipment.
* Use meters to diagnose electrical circuits accurately.
* Available to work shift work as required.

Candidate Qualifications:
* Red Seal Journeyman Industrial Mechanic / Millwright would also be considered an asset
* Stainless steel welding and fabrication experience would be considered an asset
* Experience in a manufacturing environment would be considered an asset
* Must have your own vehicle
* Clean Criminal Record
