Overview: Moncton Kia is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our dynamic team. As part of our service department, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure our customers receive high-quality service.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify necessary repairs and maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle issues and proposed solutions.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately pinpoint vehicle problems.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company and industry safety standards.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices by attending training sessions and workshops.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Automotive Service Technician or similar role.
- Certification from an accredited automotive technical school or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Attention to detail and quality of workmanship.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
