SUMMARY OR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare pleadings, motion records, mediation and conference briefs, factums, affidavits, and other court documents;
- Record all billable and non-billable functions on a daily basis;
- Utilize computer technology efficiently and productively;
- General office and clerical duties, including billable and non-billable functions; and
- Other duties as required.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Successful completion of paralegal diploma or equivalent, and 1-3 years' experience as a family law paralegal;
- Excellent technical skills and exceptional attention to detail;
- Accurate and efficient data entry and keyboarding skills;
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines;
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to provide superior client service;
- Knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules; and
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
