Job Title: Heavy Duty Shop Technician Rate of Pay: $21.00 - 23.00 /hour
Available Shift: Days (Mon-Fri, 7:00am - 4:30pm)
Location: St. Catharines - Dunkirk Rd. and Welland Ave.

We are hiring a Shop Technician/Heavy Duty Parts Installer! Our client manufactures trucks and trucking equipment in their St. Cathrines facility. Successful applicants will have 1-2 years of experience in an automotive manufacturing role assembling or installing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
Job Duties:

• Prepare and install truck components (e.g., weight calibration, pneumatic and electrical systems)
• Working with mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems for dump trucks and equipment
• Complete quality inspections on equipment before and after installation
• Abide by all safety guidelines in the facility
• Clean and maintain workspaces
• Participate in department meetings and general training programs
• Lifting up to 50lbs and completing general labour tasks as assigned

Job Requirements:

• 1-2 years of automotive manufacturing or technician experience
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Welding experience (preferred but not required)
• Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs
• CSA Safety Shoes
• Willing to provide criminal record check
