Job Title: Residential and Interior Designers'
Shift/Hours: Full Time - Days - 8:00AM to 5:00PM
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $35.00/Hour
Location: Both Rothesay and Saint John, NB

Assignment Information

We are currently looking for Residential/Interior Designers to join our client's team in Saint John, NB. With us, you will have the opportunity to work on new and exciting projects, while growing along with the company!

The ideal candidate for this role will have prior experience using design software such as: SketchUp, Planner 5D, FloorPlanner, Chief Architect Home Designer Suite, HomeByMe, or any other software programs applicable to design related professions.
In this position, you will be bringing peoples dreams to life!

The role includes meeting with clients, discussing/understanding all wants/needs, while managing their expectations and project budget. Together with clients, you will closely collaborate in the creation of their dream home/space, from the first nail in the frame - to move-in day!

Responsibilities:
* Manage Design projects from start to finish
* Site Visits - Site visit Reports
* Development material and finish specifications - keeping climate and location in consideration
* Participate in the creation of the Concept Design, Schematic Design, and Design Development packages, proposals, bidding and tender packages, construction documents, and working budgets
* Ensure projects are on track to meet project requirements, deadlines, and budgets and conduct post-construction quality reviews
* Building relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and staff

Requirements:
* Design experiences preferably in Full Home and Commercial spaces
* Construction knowledge / experience is an asset
* Ability to establish good working relationships with customers, vendors, contractors and all involved in each project
* Strong level of communication
* Ability to stay on top of schedule
* Ability to be on site consistently
* Post Secondary Education in Design or a related field
* 2+ years of experience in related field is preferred
