Assist user departments in migrating to Microsoft 365 platforms, optimizing their use of SharePoint and other tools like OneDrive, Teams, and Planner for enhanced information management and collaboration.
  • Collaborate on Data Solutions: Work closely with user departments (Planning, Engineering, etc.) to manage and coordinate corporate data sets. Utilize both GIS and Microsoft 365 tools to provide comprehensive data solutions, including geospatial insights and collaborative platforms.
  • Enhance Open Data and Public Engagement: Lead the management of the City's Open Data site, utilizing ESRI Community Hub. Create and manage user-friendly dashboards, analytics tools, and public-facing data platforms that foster transparency and engagement.

  • Geospatial Knowledge: A deep understanding of geospatial data, coordinate systems, and spatial datasets. Proven ability to update, maintain, and analyze complex spatial data.
  • Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Mastery: Hands-on experience managing SharePoint document libraries, metadata, permissions, and site content within Microsoft 365. Familiarity with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Power Apps, and Teams integration is highly desirable.
  • Data and Collaboration Leadership: Proven ability to coordinate with multiple user departments, manage corporate data sets, and lead the development of innovative solutions that meet user needs and enhance city services.
  • Bonus Skills: Experience with automating workflows using Power Automate, integrating GIS with Power BI and SharePoint, and managing municipal GIS systems and open data initiatives would be a significant asset.
