Therapeutic Supports Position
Family Service is a non-profit organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. For over 53 years, we have provided professional therapy and educational programs throughout Nova Scotia.
Locations: Inverness County, NS
Qualifications: Our organization is seeking an individual with a Master's level of social work degree, or related Master's degree in counselling who has experience working with individuals, couples, and families in a therapeutic setting. This position is a full-time permanent position.
Position Requirements: Reporting to the Therapeutic Supports Coordinator, the worker is responsible for delivering therapeutic services to adults, youth, and families. Skills required for the position include, but are not limited to strong engagement skills, solution focused work, and an understanding of trauma informed principles. Workers will work as part of a team and be engaged in reflective supervision.
Persons considered for this position must have: membership in good standing with their professional regulatory association, a clear police background check, and a clear child abuse registry check.
