Forklift

Job Title: Forklift Operator:
Location: Oxford, NS
Available Shifts: Rotation of 12 hours shifts, days/overnights
Rate of Pay: $17.45 per hour

Currently, we are looking for a Forklift Operator to join our client's team in Oxford, NS. You will be working with a company that is much more than the world's largest provider of fresh and frozen food offerings; they are an industry leader by carefully nurturing a reputation for quality and integrity

Responsibilities:
• Load, unload and move products and materials by operating a forklift
• Perform other material handling activities such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing and unpacking.
• Operate forklifts to transfer frozen or fresh fruits or vegetables from transportation vehicles to processing lines or storage areas
• May perform other activities, such as opening containers and crates, filling warehouse orders, assisting in taking inventory.

Candidate Qualifications:
• One-year similar experience (preferred)
• Forklift Operator Certificate (preferred)
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
• Works independently and part as a team.
• Dependable and reliable
• Steel toed safety boots
• Working in a freezer environment (jacket provided and forklift has heated cab)
