KD Pharma Canada is expanding the finance department at their Mulgrave manufacturing facility. We are looking for an open minded, energetic, bright and motivated team player to join the finance department located in Mulgrave, NS. This is a newly created position that will develop based on the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate.

Is the idea of supporting operations as part of the finance team something you find appealing? We seek a business savvy finance person to perform accounts payable, reconciliations, analysis & general support while looking to increase efficiency via process improvements. The facility in Mulgrave, NS is the world leader in omega3 manufacturing. It is a growing facility in which a variety of products for pharma, food, and the dietary supplements industry is produced, starting from crude fish oil as a raw material. The site takes its environmental impact very seriously. All of our heat is generated from 100% renewable fuel sources.

Don't hesitate as openings in the finance department do not become available often.

You'll be responsible for the following:

Serve as point of contact for operational processes including

· Processing of accounts payable & point of contact for vendor inquiries

· Processing of Accounts Receivable, collections and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of customer data

· Cash application & cash management including bank reconciliation

· Support month-end and year-end closing processes

· Account reconciliation & analysis

· Assisting with capital process

· Assist with annual audits

Optimization of processes and structures within accounting, their documentation and ongoing development

· Ensure integrity of financial data

· Display and promote positive safety behaviors at all times

What we like to see in your experience:

· Minimum of 5 years of related experience

· Certificate or diploma in accounting or business administration or equivalent experience

· Experience in a manufacturing environment considered an asset

· Experience with an ERP system, preferably SAP

· Experience in digitization and process improvement

· An ambitious and talented team player

· High level of conceptual and analytical skills

· Drive for results, eager to learn and develop
