CCA Temporary Part Time (.7)

We are looking for enthusiastic Continuing Care Assistants to join our team. Join a team that clearly wants to make a difference in the lives of our sixty-one residents.

Continuing Care Assistant position available immediately, end date unknown

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a recognized Continuing Care Assistant Program

• Currently registered and in good standing with Nova Scotia CCA Registry

• Experience in continuing care an asset

• Demonstrated passion in working with residents with a focus on resident centered care

• Demonstrated communication skills, initiative and empathy skills

• Proven reliability for shift coverage

• Ability and confidence to work independently

• Physically able to perform duties of the position

• Regular attendance is required

• Must be able to provide a current vulnerable sector check

Responsibilities:

• To provide direct personal care and support to the residents of Queens Manor

Schedule:

· Shifts can be 4, 8, & 12 hours and may be days, evenings and nights, including weekends and holidays

· This position does not have a set schedule

Rate of Pay: As per Union Contract
