The Wolfville Nursing Home is a privately owned, Long Term Care Facility in the town of Wolfville in Nova Scotia's beautiful Annapolis Valley. We provide quality care to 66 residents.

Wolfville Nursing Homes Limited is currently recruiting for the following position:

Dietary Aide

We are seeking a Dietary Aide to work casual shifts in a long term care setting, often working with minimal notice, as required. The ability, availability and willingness to work all shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays) is a requirement of this position.

Must have own, reliable transportation and will be required to provide a Criminal Record Check.

The ideal candidate will have the Food Handler's Certificate and at least one year of experience. Experience in a long term care setting would be an asset.

The Dietary Aide assists with meal preparation and serving of full course meals, individual dishes and foods, special meals for patients as instructed by chef. He/she will work with minimal supervision, prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, inspect kitchens and food service areas, clean kitchen and work areas and wash dishes. Must be able to work well unsupervised.

Wage: $15.45 per hour
