River Valley Health has an immediate opportunity for a permanent part-time (0.70 FTE) Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room and Ambulatory Care at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville.

As a member of an interdisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse provides quality patient care within the scope of professional nursing practice to patients and families in the Emergency and Ambulatory Care settings.

Qualifications:

• Active registration with NANB
• Current BCLS certification
• ACLS certified
• Demonstrated assessment skills and ability to triage all patients presenting to the Emergency Department
• Demonstrated ability to respond to emergency situations, rapidly changing priorities and complex patient care needs
• Demonstrated ability to function independently with minimal supervision
• Demonstrated teaching, communication, interpersonal and team-building skills
