Registered Nurse

River Valley Health has an immediate opportunity for a permanent part-time (0.60 FTE) Registered Nurse on the Post Partum/Nursery/Medical/Surgical Unit at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville.

As a member of an interdisciplinary team, you will provide quality patient care within the scope of professional practice to patients and families during the post partum, and/or surgical post operative and medical experience.  You will participate in the delivery of care of infants, medical, surgical and obstetrical patients. 

Qualifications:

• Active registration with NANB
• Current BCLS certification
• Demonstrated ability to perform Neonatal Resuscitation according to NRP standards or willing to obtain within one year
• Demonstrated ability to respond to emergency situations, rapidly changing priorities and complex patient care needs
• Demonstrated assessment skills and ability to function independently with minimal supervision
• Demonstrated teaching, communication and team-building skills
