Purpose of Job:
Responsible for providing assessment, treatment and emergency services as well as design and implement health promotion and prevention programs for the inmate population of the institution.
To Qualify:
- Bachelor Degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 2 years acute care experience or graduation from a recognized diploma school of nursing along with 3 years related nursing experience.
- Must have good work records.
- Ability to attend work on a regular basis.
- Mentally and physically able to perform assigned duties.
Demonstrated adherence to all privacy legislation and Health Authority polices to ensure all confidential patient, business, financial and employee information is accessed on a need to know basis only (for required job duties) and is disclosed only to those authorized to receive it. Must have applicable immunizations within 1 month of accepting position.
