Registered Nurse

Miramichi Regional Health Authority seeks qualified full time, part time, temporary and casual Registered Nurses' to participate in the planning and giving of total nursing care to meet the individual needs of patients  in accordance with the philosophy, objectives and policies of the hospital and the Nursing Department.

Qualifications:

• Registration with the Nurses Association of New Brunswick is required.
• Current BCLS (Class C, Health Care Provider) is required and renewed yearly.
• Good previous work and attendance record.
• Certified in IV Therapy.
• Ability to work rotating shifts.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, public, co-workers, medical staff and outside agencies.
• Positive work attitude and willingness to be a active team member and participant in health Care initiatives.
• Candidates must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Certain departments may require recent experience within their area of specialty.
• Current ACLS, PALS, Physical Assessment and Non Violent Crisis Intervention may be required for certain competitions.
• Fluency in both official languages with a demonstrated level 2+ or higher in French Oral Proficiency testing would be considered a requirement for certain competitions and an asset for others.
