Job Summary:

The Regional Coordinator works collaboratively with the spiritual and religious care staff of the different facilities within RHA A, the New Brunswick Spiritual and Religious Care Committee, and the Department of Health to facilitate the planning and support the delivery of spiritual care within the health-care continuum. Works with facility leaders of Spiritual and Religious Care departments on the planning, organization, implementation, and evaluation of spiritual care programs within those facilities in keeping with the mission, vision and values of the RHA A. Responsible for the development of policies and strategies related to spiritual and religious care in RHA A. Responsible for the spiritual care education and training provided to the professional staff and volunteers in RHA A.

Requirements:

• Preferably a Specialist and Teaching supervisor certified by CAPPE;
• Masters in Theology or equivalent;
• A member in good standing in his/her faith group;
• Five years experience in a recognized religious ministry;
• Capacity to work in a multi-faith context;
• Experience in administration;
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing in French and to communicate in English;
• Availability to travel as required (Regional).
