Senior Mechanical Technologist

We are currently seeking applications for the position of Senior Mechanical Technologist from qualified individuals. In this position you will be responsible for the design of mechanical process and piping systems, HVAC, water and wastewater, and other systems for buildings and industrial plants. Working with both public and private clients, you will be involved in a diverse range of projects, and work closely with other engineering disciplines within the firm.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of proposals and development of schematic and detailed designs.
• Estimating construction costs, conducting site investigations.
• Co-ordination of construction administration services.
• Preparation of tender documents, specifications, and progress reports.
• Meet client requirements as per contractual agreements;
• Maintain existing business relationships and building new ones.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with eligibility for registration as CET with NBSCETT;
• Have a desire to succeed and a strong ability to take initiative;
• Familiarity and competence with word processing, spreadsheet and design software;
• Strong problem solving skills; and
• Minimum of ten (10) years experience.
