At Home Customer Service Specialist

Our "At Home" team provides professional, courteous, responsive and accurate service to our customers.  As an "At Home" team member, you will have the opportunity to use the most modern technology available, while working from the comfort of your own office.  You will be supported by the Mabe Customer Operations Centre in Moncton and you can visit as often as you like!
 
The Skills: 

Successful candidates will be bilingual (French & English), possess a College Diploma or University Degree, or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years customer service experience.  Candidates must possess effective telephone communication, active listening and problem solving skills.  Successful candidates will be highly computer literate with keyboarding skills at a minimum of 30 words per minute.  Ideal candidates will be dependable, self-sufficient, internally motivated and display a strong commitment to customer service.

The Candidate:

Successful candidates are guaranteed 24 hours weekly with occasional opportunities for additional hours.  Candidates must be available to work a minimum of 24 hours each week and be flexible to work rotating shifts within the following hours of operation:

  • Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm
  • Saturday from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Successful candidates must be available to participate in 6 to 8 weeks of full-time, paid training at our Customer Operations Centre in Moncton.

Candidates must also have a subscription to a reliable, high-speed DSL or Cable (bi-directional speeds of 128K or more), land-based (no satellite or wireless) Internet service.

The Challenge:

As a Mabe Customer Service Representative, you will receive inbound calls from our consumers within Canada.  You will be responsible for the effective and efficient handling of customer inquiries regarding product warranty and requests to book service calls on appliances.  You will complete transactions in real time, work simultaneously with multiple software applications, consistently follow-up on commitments in a timely manner and appropriately identify and escalate unresolved matters.
